I’m here for the girls who unwillingly consented to sex or sexual acts because they were in a situation where they didn’t feel as if they had the right to say no and now feel violated but don’t feel like they can say they were raped or molested.
this is probably one of the most important text posts i have ever seen because i feel like this is a HUGE issue among teenagers especially young girls in today’s social culture and nobody talks about it. nobody tells you that you were in fact abused and sometimes it takes you years to finally realize what happened to you was wrong, and it’s really scary and confusing! we need to teach each other that “rape” or “molestation” can happen in many circumstances and not just the ones we are taught!!!!
15 mosques in france have been attacked in the past 48hrs. i guess the term terrorist only applies if the crime is committed by a muslim.
that will be held accountable for the actions of an extremist group with whom they have no affiliation, and will most likely be subject to various hate crimes in the coming weeks
ISIS just claimed responsibility for 2 terrorist suicide explosions that hit the Lebanese capital’s southern suburb, killing 40 innocent civilians and injuring 200 in the process. The death toll is still on the rise. 2 other terrorists were heading to the area: one of them was killed and the other was captured by the army which means that ISIS was planning to target the capital with 4 simultaneous explosions.
Kindly keep us in your prayers.
Yesterday 43 people in Beirut were killed by extremists. One of the targets was going to be a Shiite mosque. Today Paris is going through a series of terrorist attacks.
As usual people are blaming all Muslims for the attack in France. But let me be clear, groups like ISIS kill ANYONE who doesn’t follow their rules. They kill innocents. Muslims and non-Muslims alike. And I hate that we have to bring this up every time there is an attack. It takes away from the victims, but many times those victims are Muslim and they don’t deserve to be lumped in with ISIS. They are victims too.
RIP to those that lost their lives in these attacks.
If you’re a Non-Muslim and you see a Muslim praying in public, could you please not pass in front of them?
Go behind them, but not in front. 👍
Oh, signal boost! I didn’t know this.
Okay, but also: if you see a Muslim praying in public and they have something in front of them, like a purse or a bag or something like that, you can pass in front of them, but pass in front of that object.
it’s called a sutrah, and it’s meant to act as a physical barrier between the person praying and someone who might happen to pass in front.
Also, if you did this and didn’t know, please don’t beat yourself up over it. Now you know! Muslims aren’t supposed to pass in front of Muslims praying, either, because prayer is communication with God and you don’t want to break that connection.
Spread culture, respect customs, be good people. Simple as that.
